A Colorado Dude Ranch Family That's So Big!
What makes up a family? A mother, a father and the children? Oh, and not to forget the extended family - grandma, grandpa, aunts and uncles and even cousins, right? What about friends? Those people that you could not even imagine your life without. So what makes up a family? For us, most importantly, family is about relationships.
At Wilderness Trails Ranch (WTR), every guest is special - and so many really do become part of our family.
At WTR, your week long summer dude ranch vacation is a week well spent. WTR activities are geared to make your family getaway memorable you'd keep coming back for more. We have the "Never Bored Youth Program" - activities especially made for the adventure-loving and curious teenagers of the family. And of course, who would forget the famous tree house and sandbox that sits directly behind the lodge, a straight path to adventure and imagination for children of all ages?
Over the years a child's first memory is of the "Great Treehouse", which then turns into photo albums of generations laughing and playing.
While we say that the sandbox is for those little people, you will often see grandparents playing with their grandchildren or a wrangler who gets pulled into the imaginary adventure of a three- year old.
These and many more are just a few of the things you'd love at WTR. Because we value relationships, we want our guests to feel that they are our family and as a member of the family, they deserve the best.
If upon check-in you hear many warm hello's and see bountiful hugs, upon check-out, difficult goodbyes and some tears are witnessed.
At WTR guests turn into friends, and friends turn into family!
Indeed Wilderness Trails Ranch is a family so big!
