Enjoy the mountains in spring or while fall colors slowly meander down our valley. Singles, couples, parents who need a break, this is your time: no phone, no TV, no meetings, no worries.
We offer many of the same activities as summer, but take a maximum of 25 guests per week! Take time to relax and encounter the wilderness. Survey the solitude and serenity of a Rocky Mountain night sky. You may never experience so many stars again!
Ride or take a break from the saddle to visit Mesa Verde National Park, fish, hike, or soak. Evening entertainment includes sing-a-longs, hayrides, guitar pickin’, and dance lessons.
Avid Rider? Fall offers are most flexible and progressive riding program. Ride all day every day, trailblaze, focus on natural horsemanship, or learn to rope! This is an ideal time of year for horse fanatics to create the ultimate riding vacation.
Cowgirl Camp August 24-30
Cowgirl up for an exceptional and fun week of camaraderie with the gals, outstanding riding, and a true taste of western living. Experience real ranch life as you groom and saddle your own horse, help feed the herd with our team of draft horses, work cattle, rope, or learn to pack a horse. Unwind with a personalized massage or spa treatment, indulge with gourmet dinners, sample extensive non-riding options, and spend charmed evenings swapping lies around the fire. Caballeros -Ride the Colors of the Fall September 28-October 4
Experience the absolute peak of Colorado's fall colors during this extraordinary week. Intermediate and advanced riders ride all day, every day. Stunning days in the saddle explore the adjoining Piedra and Weminuche Wilderness Areas as our aspen and oak trees glow in shades of crimson, yellow, and orange. Awaken to the majestic call of bull elk in rut and sleep to the sounds of Colorado's largest wilderness. Many guests have been coming to this special week for years, and they wouldn’t miss it for anything! This intimate week is limited to 15 riders.
Cattle Round Up - Available throughout September
Help us bring in the herd. Advanced riders spend days gathering cattle from their summer range, comprised of thousands of acres adjacent to the ranch. We ride 6-7 hours a day gathering the cattle, while evenings are spent swapping tales and tunes around the fire.
